Ultra Rare Sinn 801A 1000m profresional Diving Watch Automatic French Varient

The Sinn 801 is considered a grail watch among collectors due to its limited production and unique features. Information about early Sinn watches is extremely scarce, adding to its mystique and desirability. The standard Sinn 801A models featured a Swiss ETA movement. However, Helmut Sinn frequently sourced components from various regions depending on availability in the 1980s. This resulted in a rare French dial and movement known as the French Connection. The case was Swiss-manufactured by MRPSA, an asymmetrical case bearing the historic “Brevet 503305” bezel patent stamp. With the raw France Ebauches (FE) cal.FE4611 blank base movement. At the time, Helmut Sinn did not have an in-house decoration studio to engrave or paint logos, so the raw parts left the French factory completely blank. There is only one minor flaw on this ultra-rare “triple-nation” crossover variant… someone added tiny lume dots on the dial. I was so excited when I found this watch; I did not catch it at first.
