The Seiko 6306-7001 is the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) version of Seiko’s third-generation professional diver, produced from 1976 to 1981. The JDM model (6306-7001) has a more advanced movement than the export versions (6309-7040/7049). For example, 21 jewels in the JDM version compared to 17 in the export version. This makes this version more sought after and more valuable. This watch was completely overhauled in Oct 2024.
